Scritches (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Link really loves being held like a baby and having his head scritched by his person, Little Girl.

He really, really loves it!

***********************************

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

Week 71: September 15, 2017

1. I have broken ___________ bones.

2. When I go out to breakfast, I order ___________.

3. As Summer officially comes to an end,                            .

4. Before this year is over, I really need to                                 .

1. I have broken seven bones.  (Both bones in left forearm twice, bone in left ankle once, each little toe once.)

2. When i go out to breakfast, i order fruit and occasionally oatmeal.  There's really not a lot on most breakfast menus that fit my diet.

3. As Summer officially comes to an end, will we even notice down here where the only two seasons are wet and hurricane, with hurricane simply being hotter and wetter?

4. Before this year is over, i really need to get my house organized.  Yeah, right!

  3. Link and my Brody could be twins and he likes to be held like that too :) Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, nice answers. I think we all have a lot of organizing to do at home. I hope your hurricane season is done. Have a nice weekend! XO

  4. Link does look like Brody! What cute pictures. Chloe Jo does that same thing, with me. Cute! Oh, Mimi, I worry about your weather. I like it down there, but never could live there again. The humidity would be too much. Stay safe and be careful! HUGS!

  8. Fruit makes a great breakfast. I had key lime pie for breakfast yesterday. Lime's a fruit! haha

You hit the nail on the head with #3!

We can keep hoping for an organized house. Maybe one day it will actually happen. :)

That Danger Run/Ghost Run in Kentucky sounds like a lot of fun.

Thanks for the history lessons. Have a blessed weekend. :)

  9. Get organized? How is that done? Or maybe the better question is why? Everything just gets disorganized again...in less time than it takes to do the work.

  10. We have the same kind of weather you do. We are on the Texas Gulf Coast. Have a great week.

  11. Mimi,

I'm with you on getting the house organized. I don't think this will EVER happen where we are with little to no room to do anything. We made a huge dent in the sort and toss process a few years ago but I mostly what's remaining requires more attention than either of us can give, so I reckon whenever we move into our next house someday then we'll have to make some radical decisions quickly because I do not want to transport unwanted stuff into our new place.

I can not imagine living in area threatened by hurricanes. I guess it's a matter of what you get used to but I don't think I want to make the effort to get used to it. I know material things can be replaced but how do you decide what to take with you when you evacuate ten zillion times per season? Okay, I know it's not that often...may it's just one zillion times. :)

"National Cream de Menthe Day" I like mint candy (Peppermint Patties or Andy's mints) but I can't recall the difference. Do you know?

I really loved Peter Falk as "Columbo"! That was one of my favorite TV shows!
