Not Quite Critical (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Little Girl and i exchanged these texts a while back:

LG:  Remember how you used to tell me you put me into this world and you can take me out?

LG:  Take me out!

me:  And that was a joke, by the way.

LG:  You're fine, lol it's a joke.  I have an ear infection and upper respiratory infection so im just slowly dying

Of course, she survived, but she really did feel awful for a while.

Boudreaux done gots him a new job wit' de funeral home.  A few week later, he done woke up wit' de terrible pain in hims middle.  He done woke up Clothile wit' his moanin', an' she done insist he gets him to de near urgent care.

While dey be on de way, Clothile ax, "You want me to call de boss an' tell him you be sick?"

An' Boudreaux say, "No, le's fine out what be wrong firs' so's we can tell him."

De doc done examine, an' do a test, an' fin'ly say, "You gots you a kidney stone."

Den Clothile look at Boudreaux an' say, "You wants me to call de fun'ral home now?"

An' de doc say, "Mais!  He don' be dat sick!"
