Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and has become a moveable feast of word or picture or music prompts to encourage us to write stories, poems, or whatever strikes our fancy.

This month, the prompts are being provided by Teresa.     \

Todays prompts are:

edge

chair

blanket

hypothermia

fire

and/or

exile

ranch

mutual

agenda

dress

Charlotte/Mother Owl's color of the month is Reseda Green (a grayish green).

"What's on the AGENDA for today?" he asked cheerfully, coming into the RANCH's kitchen.

"To keep me from dying of HYPOTHERMIA," she said drily.  She had pulled her CHAIR in front of the FIRE and was sitting on its EDGE, wrapped in an old RESEDA GREEN BLANKET.

"We knew it would be cold in winter," he said, "and we knew we had to take the opportunity to come here, at least for a year, remember?  It was a MUTUAL decision."

"Yeah, I know, but on days like this I'm going to regret it, at least until I warm up a little.  Just make me a promise."

"What?"

"After a year here, EXILE me to Hawaii for a while, so I can wear a light house DRESS and sandals all day and not feel like a popsicle!"

"A vacation in Hawaii, we'll go there as a reward for doing what we knew we needed to do!"
