Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
I believe i've finally gotten enough Halloween candy for the big night. I try to spread out the cost over several weeks of shopping, buying a small bag each time i go of what most kids and grown-ups consider the "good" candy.
I also make sure i have the nut-free candies, just in case.
Clothile done be worryin' 'bout how much de candy done cost fo' de Halloween night.
Boudreaux done say, "I knows how we kin save money on dis."
An' Clothile ax, "How?"
An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, we done gots us some o' de not so popular candy lef' from las' year, we jes' give dat an' tell dem it be jawbreakers!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
Halloween photos from this neighborhood. We had some fun stuff this year. I also included some sky shots.
(Please note, it's a lot of photos and i will not be offended at all if you scroll past them quickly.)
