Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
While October 20 is the official Tock-Tober Day, my kitties want to share theirs one at a time. Today, Dansig the Round.
Tocks with a tail dangle. |

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I would love to find an easier way to _________.
2. My October list includes _________, _________, and _________.
3. I know better than to _________.
4. _________ should be illegal.
1. I would love to find an easier way to make a living.
2. My October list includes work, church, and all the usual suspects.
3. I know better than to say "never," because as soon as i do, whatever it was is something i end up having to do!
4. Declawing cats should be illegal. When i was a kid, it's just what everyone i knew did when they got a cat, to protect the furniture. Now we know how awful it is and it's time for the practice to end.

Dansig the round is a handsome cat. I agree that declawing should be illegal. I would never do such a thing and before I discovered blogland I didn't even know about this horrific practice.
ReplyDeleteLove your cats - and your celebration of nature. And a big YES to making declawing cats illegal.
ReplyDeleteDansig the Round is handsome. Declawing was made illegal in the UK in 2006 and I really can't understand why the US and other countries are so far behind in banning this evil and cruel practice.
ReplyDeleteMom has also learned to never say never as it always happens after you say it. As a kid Mom always had cats declawed. When she got older and didn't get them declawed she was amazed at how they didn't ruin anything if you give them places to scratch that are for them. They got their claws trimmed too every week like we dogs do.
ReplyDeleteThe thought of declawing cats just turns my stomach. I've had an indoor pet for 40 years or more and I have never once thought about doing that. I do love seeing all that fluffy orange fur on Dansig.
ReplyDeleteThose are some mighty fine tocks Dansig. I forgot it was tock time- thanks for the reminder. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I agree about declawing. It is illegal in my state and should be everywhere. Very true about #3. XO
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see Dansig the Round and his adorable tocks. I shall have to caption him for next Friday.
ReplyDeleteDansig the Round has great 'tocks
ReplyDeleteNice tocks sweet Dansig! Those were really good fill-in answers too.
ReplyDeleteDansig has such lovely colour fur, I'd like hair like that! I never say never, well, hardly ever!
ReplyDeleteDansig the Round you are quite a darlin' ginger friend with a cute tock
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
Dansig is gorgeous. Great fillins. I agree with your #4.
ReplyDeleteFurbulous fill-ins, and totally on #3, the N.E.V.E.R. word is outlawed at BBHQ, because the minute mew say it, it happens; "Oh that's n.e.v.e.r going to happen..." three mintues later it does!!! It's the biggest jinx word in the known cosmos!!! MOL And Dansig is just too cute for words!!! ❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteOrange sherbet fluffy cat!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI so agree about declawing. Ding was declawed by the previous owner. I see several times, where she was having problems with no claws. And that's not counting the danger she could be in if she would get outside!
Cat
Dansig is beautiful, love the tocks and dangle shot a lot. We can't imagine how awful it must be to be declawed. We agree, it is a practice that should end.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
I could look at pics of cats all day long, and all night through. I love cats so very much. I love animals, but cats are part of who I am...and they have been since I was a very young girl. :)
ReplyDeleteTake good care. :)
Oona: "Fluffy Dansig reminds Oona of Oona's brother Odin!"
ReplyDeleteDansig, you and your tocks are looking great! Nice fill-ins. We so agree with #4!
ReplyDeleteAdorable tocks, Dansig! Declawing is outright cruelty.
