Feline Friday Tocks, Friendly Fill-Ins and Nature Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

While October 20 is the official Tock-Tober Day, my kitties want to share theirs one at a time.  Today, Dansig the Round.

Tocks with a tail dangle.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I would love to find an easier way to _________.

2. My October list includes _________, _________, and _________.

3. I know better than to _________.

4. _________ should be illegal.

1. I would love to find an easier way to   make a living.

2. My October list includes   work, church, and all the usual suspects.

3. I know better than to   say "never," because as soon as i do, whatever it was is something i end up having to do!

4. Declawing cats  should be illegal.   When i was a kid, it's just what everyone i knew did when they got a cat, to protect the furniture.  Now we know how awful it is and it's time for the practice to end.

  1. Dansig the round is a handsome cat. I agree that declawing should be illegal. I would never do such a thing and before I discovered blogland I didn't even know about this horrific practice.

  2. Love your cats - and your celebration of nature. And a big YES to making declawing cats illegal.

  3. Dansig the Round is handsome. Declawing was made illegal in the UK in 2006 and I really can't understand why the US and other countries are so far behind in banning this evil and cruel practice.

  4. Mom has also learned to never say never as it always happens after you say it. As a kid Mom always had cats declawed. When she got older and didn't get them declawed she was amazed at how they didn't ruin anything if you give them places to scratch that are for them. They got their claws trimmed too every week like we dogs do.
