If you ever think you're too small
to make any difference at all
and on your spirits it casts a pall,
then please may i call
your attention to the humble flea.
It's a terrible thing you know
as one night will easily show
if you ever to bed you go
and next thing, oh no!
there you find a flea!
Though small it has great might
in it you won't delight
it'll keep you up all night,
it's tiny with a big bite,
that humble little flea.

ReplyDeleteAnd yes, a flea can be a powerful beast. As can a mosquito (also small).
Those three doggies could have been in a TV commercial lined up like that. Taking turns getting their treats in order.
ReplyDeleteThose are great quotes! We usually get treats when we come inside, but once and a while Mom is stingy and we get nothing but we don't sit nicely in a line like that.
