No-Show (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma was telling me about a friend of hers who is not doing well at all.  She hadn't heard from the friend's son and is concerned the friend is back in the hospital and the son simply so overwhelmed he forgot to call.

This, of course, started a discussion about forgetfulness.

Boudreaux done be in de line fo' de grocery an' dis lady walk up to him an' say, "You fille done need to be in de nursin' home!"

An' Boudreaux look him confuse an' say, "My fille, Aline?  She only be 12, what you mean she need be in de nursin' home?"

An' de lady say, "Mais! she done gots her de premature senility, she keep fo'gittin' her piano lessons!"
