Some people celebrate today, some people mourn.

Some see a new beginning, some see the beginning of the end.

While some think everything will be all right now, others are quaking in their shoes.

The news media, sensing ratings and thus money and power, feeds into the frenzy, tries to pry the divide wider and wider.

Many no longer talk about the issues, they simply scream, trying to drown out every other voice, and working together to come up with solutions becomes impossible.

It breaks my heart to see the wedge politics causes in our society today.
