Carbon and Copy (Feline Friday and Pet Photo Fails), Friendly Fill-Ins, Nature Friday and Flashback Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Also, photographing kittens isn't easy, and I think these also qualify as Pet Photo Fails, which is hosted by Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries & Meows.

These two mischief and mess makers are Carbon and Copy.  They are exact copies of each other in the destruction of their cage department.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I already know what I am going to get _________ for Christmas.

2. I have no idea what to get _________ for Christmas.

3. _________ is my earliest Christmas memory.

4. My house _________ during the Christmas season.

1. I already know what I am going to get   the children and grandchild and niece and nephew  for Christmas.

2. I have no idea what to get   Grandma and Grandpa  for Christmas.

3. The toy kitchen  is my earliest Christmas memory.   When i was five, Grandpa (my father, my children's grandfather, simply referred to as Grandpa on my blog) told me Santa was having a back-up in toymaking in the shop and had asked him to build the toy kitchen i wanted.  It was a true child size kitchen, built of wood and painted white, a refrigerator, oven and cooktop, counter and storage cupboard, and sink, and i watched him build it and played with it for years, and so did all my children.

4. My house   stays the same  during the Christmas season.

Nature Friday is hosted by LLB in Our Backyard Simply post a picture of the natural world, and link up!

Flashback Friday is hosted by FiveSibes Come hop along memory lane with us!

Several years ago, this little lady was waiting for her forever home, which she got soon after i snapped this.

  2. Carbon and Copy are so cute and are keeping themselves well amused.
When Eric was a kitten he used to love to play in the (clean) litter box and scatter it everywhere.
I am glad that pretty little girl soon got her forever home.
I also had a toy kitchen as a child. Mine was shop bought and made of tin though. I still had lots of fun with it. Yours was special to have it made specially for you.

  5. Those kittens need to find a home where they can get into better trouble, LOL! Today is decorate day. Mom doesn't decorate as much as she used to, but we will make it look like Christmas anyway.

  6. Very cute kittens. Thanks for hosting and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Older people are hard to buy for because they usually have everything they need. That is a sweet memory of the kitchen set. XO
