Dream Weaver (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday as Grandma prepared to take her nap and my Sweetie and i got ready to leave, he asked me where the leftover lasagna was.

I looked at him and said, you mean the one at home, the leftovers from rEcess?

He shook his head and said, "I fell asleep on the couch and I think I need to go back to sleep, I didn't get all my dreams out, I dreamed the lasagna was here!"

Boudreaux done look a li'l worse fo' de wear an' Thibodeaux done ax Boudreaux, "You okay?  How did you sleep las' night?"

An' Boudreaux say, "I t'ink I done dream I was de salad."

An' Thibodeaux say, "You dream you was a salad?  What you mean?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, I done tossed all night!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

Last Sunday was a special service for Reformation Day.  Because it is later in the morning, we get a longer walk with Mr. Cal.  Today, photos of nature from the walk and some photos of the fun at the service.  Tomorrow, for Awww Monday, the photos of Mr. Cal on the walk.

We're heading for the pond.

I barely caught the flock of birds.

Home again.

Set up for a big meal.

View of the courtyard from the upper window.

This week, Cookie and Emmie want to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, as long as they don't have to get up and move to do it.

  11. Java Bean: "Ayyy, those grounds look like a great place for a walk or a run! I think I would be a little nervous around all those people at the end, though, even if they weren't banging on drums and playing bagpipes ..."
