(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both. If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.
Recently i cornered Horizon and brushed him, and now he is giving me the cold shoulder:
I will walk past you on the way to the end of the bed and not look at you! |
I am studiously ignoring all of your advances! |

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. Better to be ____________ than ___________________.
2. Don’t _______________ just because ________________.
3. You couldn’t pay me to _________.
4. _________ is my comfort food.
1. Better to be yourself than pretend to be someone you are not. Sooner or later, the real you will come through, so start there and stay there.
2. Don’t overeat just because there's more food on your plate. If you got to much when you served your plate or were served too much at a restaurant, save the remainder for leftovers later.
3. You couldn’t pay me to hurt someone.
4. Trader Joe's Inner Peas is my comfort food.

Cats give the 'cold shoulder' well don't they? Love your fill-ins, though I don't know Trader Joe's Inner Peas.
ReplyDeleteMimi,
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on being yourself. That's the only person I want to be with me or anyone else. You don't have to pay me to hurt (physically) someone if they are trying to hurt me or someone I love. I'd be a Tigerous ready for a kill. I am woman, hear me roar, 'M-E-O-W!' :) Have a good weekend, dearie!
I was outraged for a bit until I reread and found it was designated hitter day, not designated Hitler day!
ReplyDeleteLOL he's got the hump with you now, I like the duvet cover :-)
ReplyDeleteNice fill-ins especially the first one have a tanfastic weekend :-)
Yep, ignore happens!
ReplyDeleteSweet photos of kitty 'giving the cold shoulder.' And wonderful fill ins ~ thanks for 'being you.'
ReplyDeleteHappy Day to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I feel comfortable being myself, no need to pretend. One of my problem is overeating because I do not want to waste food.
ReplyDeleteOh kitties can have some major attitude if you do something they dislike and they will let you know it. Dogs will not, but cats will. I so remember.
ReplyDeleteLove your fill-ins.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥
At least you didn't give him a bath. When my mom's cat was a kitten nearly ten years ago, he got into the garage and got oil on him. My husband (then boyfriend) had to give the kitten his first bath. The cat has never forgiven him. lol.
ReplyDelete1. Better to be _poor and happy_ than _rich and sad_.
2. Don’t do _something_ just because _everyone else is_.
3. You couldn’t pay me to _spend a day with snakes … or spiders_.
4. _Cheese_ is my comfort food.
There is nothing worse than being ignored by the kitty!
ReplyDeleteI am sure he will forgive you soon. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the fill-ins, great answers. I need to learn not to eat everything that is in front of me. I thought of you the other day at the grocery store. There were samples of Redi whip whipped cream made with almonds and one with coconut, both vegan.
Normally, I would not hurt anyone either. However, if I thought they intended me or my family harm, I could hurt them. I have never heard of Inner Peas. I think they sound interesting.
ReplyDeleteHorizon may not have liked getting brushed, but he sure is handsome! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Here's yet another reason why I wish a Trader Joe's would pop up in my area. I love peas, and Inner Peas sound like something wonderful!
