My Pillow! (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Tripod SissyCat has claimed the pillow at the foot of my bed as her personal space, and she defends it against all comers!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. Looking back, _________________________.

2. _________________ is a treat I give to myself.

3. A new skill I want to learn is _________.

4. One bad habit I want to stop is _________.

1. Looking back, there are things i could have done differently had i known more or known better, but it’s better to take that knowledge and move forward from here than to live in regret.

2. Vegan ice cream sweetened with brown rice syrup is a treat I give to myself.

3. A new skill I want to learn is efficient time management.  Since i spend so much time at work, i want to learn the best ways to use my time at home so things get done around here and i have some down time.

4. One bad habit I want to stop is complaining about traffic.  Instead of complaining, i want to remember to be grateful i have a vehicle so i can get to work.

  7. SissyCat is such a cutie. Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I can't imagine not complaining about traffic. I have not been in it often, but when I have, it drives me crazy being trapped. I am sure you can master time management. :) Have a wonderful weekend! XO

  8. I listen to music when I’m in heavy traffic. I’ve found as I age I seem to take things in stride. It’s a good thing.

That pillow is hers and she’ll make sure it stays hers. You go girl.

Thanks for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug. ♥

  12. Mimi,

I enjoyed your FF responses. I definitely agree with number 1 about learning from your mistakes and move forward. The one bad habit I want to stop is sitting too long. I worked on that some last year but I need to keep improving. Blogging really keeps me on my bottom too much and that's just not good. Here's to better things this year!

  13. One of the tips I have just been reading about in one of the many books we review is to make several meals at one time. That way, during the week all you have to do is pop it in the oven. Crock pots are also good for that, too. You can prep your veggies only once a week and cut that step out. Have a blessed New Year!

  14. Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I can honestly relate to all of your answers. Just like you, I plan on working on my time management, as I have a great many things I wish to accomplish this year outside of my work life. And I have been trying out a variety of vegan ice creams, and I'm curious what brands you enjoy? I'm always open to some new ones, as I've been stuck in a bit of a rut with vegan Halo Top. I hope your 2019 has been happy and healthy thus far!
