It’s Just a Number (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

  ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Today is #1 Son's birthday!

Boudreaux be havin' him de birthday, an' de fam'ly be ribbin' him 'bout gittin' old.

Den Boudreaux tell dem, "Dat be okay, Le Bon Dieu done know I be young on de inside, He know ever't'in' 'bout me."

An' Clothile say, "You be right, He even count de hair on you head.  An' mais! dat done be easier ever' year!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

A few different things, starting with some snaps from walks with Becca and Mr. Cal.

Ms. G finally got her beloved caladium bulbs in, and managed to distract the squirrels with enough sunflower seeds not to dig them up before they could grow.

I tried to snap some photos of a busy bumblebee in Mr. BA's garden, but it really did not cooperate.  Each picture is shown as it was taken, and then cropped so you can see the blurry, fuzzy, buzzy bee.

Sunsets.

  1. Bees are indeed very difficult to photograph. Love that you caught the fuzziness. Loved walking with you, the beauteous garden shots and the skyscapes. Thank you.

  5. Bees are most definitely high up on our natural wonders and delights list. A sunset is a picture as much as an array of flowers that have come into bloom. We love the shape of that tree, so many limbs yet no hands to write it's tale.
