Porch Time, Rain or Shine (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Tripod SissyCat loves her porch time, rain or shine.

Rain, and yes, the sun is.shining in the distance.

Even if it's raining, she's happy to be out here.

Sleeping under the swing when the sun comes back out.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I hope I never have to _________.

2. I must remember to _________.

3. I learned about _________ when _________.

4. _________ has been occupying a lot of my time these days.

1. I hope I never have to   go back to cleaning 2-3 houses a day to make ends meet.

2. I must remember to   add electrolytes to my water so i don't end up with low sodium again.

3. I learned about
how to make the most of all the leftovers  when   i was cooking for the whole family.

4.
Staying cool  has been occupying a lot of my time these days.

*In several interviews, Satchmo claimed to have been born on July 4, 1900. Historians always disputed that claim, saying it was too neat and tidy, and his baptismal records, found in a church basement, proved otherwise. Some biographies still give the July 4, 1900, date in error.

  1. Tripod kitty is obviously in her element. I hope you CAN stay cool and don't have to go back to that level of cleaning to make ends meet.

  2. As a child my nan taught me to use leftovers and I still remember to do so now. Tripod SissyCat enjoys the fresh air come rain or shine. Eric loved rain and would sit in the middle of the lawn and get soaked. I would towel dry him when he came in and he would go right back out and do the same again.
