Are We Having Fun Yet? (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

At one point yesterday, Grandma asked me if Grandpa was at home.  He was.  She said he's got a meeting now at least once a week and he doesn't always tell her when he's going to be gone and this bothers her.

Clothile done been fussin' 'bout de time Boudreaux done spen' at de HubbaHubba Lounge, so he agree to take her wit' him one evenin'.

Dey get dere an' she ax, "What you do firs'?" and he say, "I gets me a drink.  I be gettin' one fo' each o' us."

He come back an' han' Clothile de drink, an' she take her a sip an' she gasp, den she choke, den she cough an' sputter, an' den she say, "Dis be de worse t'ing I ever done put in my mouth!  It be awful!  How you kin stan' drink dis?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, you see!  An' you t'ink I be's comin' here to pass a good time!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

It's spring, and other things.

This week, Lulu wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.
