It’s been a long week getting to Thankful Day, and busy, so i'm thankful for everything and everything else, too.

Grandma got a visit with our little Annie last Saturday, i drove home in a storm and then went and voted in a huge downpour, and i’m thankful all these things worked out beautifully.

I got to see Ms. JAI and she was on a tear.  I’m thankful she was much calmer when i left.

#2 Son and i worked on getting the RV tanks emptied and we're thankful we found the outdoor cap to our drains so he can get rid of it and thankful the tanks emptied so easily.

Tuesday we had our ladies' circle and it was excellent, then i got to babysit and that was just as excellent.  I'm thankful i seem to have figured out a way to get her to go to sleep.

Wednesday was notoriously long, Ms. G had us at a friend's house cleaning things out and i'm thankful i made it home in time to swallow a quick supper and get to Bible study.

rEcess was the cap of the week.  We're thankful for food, getting to see the children's choir play rehearsal, playground time, not losing Trey (he's autistic and he runs, all the time, everywhere, and gets away easily), games without shoes and the simple joy of a fun night.

Please write up your own list and link up to Ten Things of Thankful, where Clark and his co-hosts always have a warm welcome waiting.

  1. Your busy week had you running in circles it seems. I know you are enjoying time with Annie and then again with the children in rEcess. Being helpful while on the job actually, must feel rewarding at the end of the day. I am thankful that I live high on a steep hill as it pours and pours here for days and more to come. Ah, the beginnings of Spring. Happy Saturday.

  7. Enjoyed your thankful things list very much. I swear we should all do that eery DAY. And loved each and every picture. Went over them all several times, slowly. I would have enjoyed being your tag along friend to the entire day! The baby is such a treat to you. I sure understand that. My only grand baby was 10 years old Mar 30.

  9. I'm thankful you voted, too many people in your country don't bother. Voting in my country is compulsory.
I'm also thankful that our weather is finally cooling down, with days being nicer and nights getting chilly enough to appreciate blankets.

  11. You are participating in some fun blog hops. Looks like I missed the A-Z sign up by one day, otherwise I might have considered doing that one and somehow make it related to cozies. Maybe next year I'll be more on the ball. Have a great week! :)
