Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
I'm trying to get a good front face photo of Link Linker the Stinker, but all he wants to give me is this.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. The best part of the summer is _________.
2. I can't believe that I ever _________.
3. I would happily _________ every single day.
4. I could use a break from _________.
1. The best part of the summer is when the heat breaks at the end of it.
2. I can't believe that I ever got to go to Europe, it seems like a dream now.
3. I would happily sit at a desk for a job every single day.
4. I could use a break from everything, a short vacation would be nice.

ReplyDeleteI hope you are able to get a vacation soon.
I was able to add my link to the list but not the list to my blog as we are on holiday and in Copenhagen today.
Enjoy a lovely weekend. God bless.
ReplyDeleteLink Linker is beautiful. I like the Spanish Moss too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture of the trees and the kitty and the dog. Great pictures for a hot day, because it's unbelievably hot up here starting this morning.
ReplyDeleteThe best part of summer is ... all of it! I love summer - when we have it!
ReplyDeleteMemories of Eric and Flynn can attest to the Danish summer not being anything special today :(

ReplyDeleteLOL Spanish Moss
YEARS ago I had to be in Myrtle Beach for work my daughter and I would drive down by ourselves.
My husband had a business trip and was to join us there mid week. My daughter (age 10) was going to be my navigator (this was eons before GPS etc).
My husband wrote down directions step by step and landmarks for her to look out for. She asked her Daddy how she would know if we were going in the correct direction. He told her when she saw Spanish Moss she would know we were correct.
She loved telling me how/where to drive
Hugs cecilia
ooh, National Video Game day? My grandkids will love knowing that one!
ReplyDeleteI love your fill-ins! Here's mine:
1. The best part of the summer is... having my grandkids off from school and being with them and swimming in the pool! After that, I wait for Autumn!.
2. I can't believe that I ever was... a cowgirl and lucky enough to have several beautiful, amazing horses. Feels like another lifetime ago!.
3. I would happily... (and am happy to be retired and stay home every single day writing!
4. I could use a break from...adulting (LOL) and just have a nice, relaxing day...out West, would be nice!
Have a great week!
I'm sorry to learn of Steve's passing. As you know, I've been absent from the blog for awhile.
ReplyDeleteAs for cats, they make me sneeze, but I'm a true dog lover. Just this morning, I learned of a successful save for Bumble! He is a sweet shelter puppy who stole my heart Wednesday afternoon. He was scheduled to be euthanized this morning but with a team effort, we got a rescue to save him and the shelter to break their rules for him. Thank God!
We couldn't agree more about your description of the best part of summer - we have had a very long stretch of hot and sticky weather. Now it is wet and muggy. Bring on the fall.
ReplyDeleteWe wish you could get a vacation soon. Sometimes even a staycation is helpful.
