Reconstructing a Crime Scene (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

The renovations have started at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  

Months ago, a mouse chewed the drain hose of the dishwasher and flooded the kitchen, and they have been in negotiation with the insurance ever since.  Since the place will be torn up anyway, the damage will be repaired by insurance and much more will be done beyond that so the flooring will match all the way through.

Boudreaux done come home from work an' tol' Clothile someone had done broke in to de house dey was renovatin' and stole some de supplies.

Clothile done ax if'n dey had enny idea o' who done it, an' Boudreaux say, "Mais, he din't be too careful an' put hims hand in de wet cement, an' so de police got dem some concrete evidence!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
