Add One More (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Granddaughter has moved back in with Ms. GA and Mr. BA.  (She lived with them for the summer between high school and college, and is now there for the summer after her sophomore year.)  This time, she has moved in with a cat of her own to add to the mix.

Ruth(less) is a juvenile tortoiseshell (tortie) with attitude ("tortitude") who will scratch or bite to indicate playtime is done.  She's shaking up the household and stalking Abigail, who is being most patient with her:

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. My day is not complete until I ___________________.

2. It is time to ___________________.

3. _________ made me change my mind about _________.

4. I simply refuse to _________.

1. My day is not complete until I  have evening prayers.

2. It is time to   get a new window unit A/C for the bedroom.  The old one quit working and the day will soon come when an open window will not be enough.

3. Learning more about the procedure  made me change my mind about   ever declawing a cat.  When i was a kid, it was considered simply what you did, but now that i know better, how horrible it is for the cat, i wouldn't even consider it again.

4. I simply refuse to   give up my King James Version.  Other translations may be more accurate in some passages, or a bit easier to understand and read, but i love my KJV.

  1. Ruth reminds me of Jazz.
And yes, when I learnt about declawing I knew I would never, could never to it to any cat.

  6. A new kitty in the mix and I'm guessing younger. That makes for some interesting times.

Love your fill-ins. You're so squared away. You really are.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

  8. Cute kitty. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am with you on declawing, it is so cruel. Have a nice weekend. XO

  9. Those were really good answers. We hope sweet Abigail remains patient. We agree on declawing too. Our sweet Dolly was front declawed before we got her, then she was dumped in a bad part of town.

  10. I agree about the declawing. It has been illegal in the UK and was rarely done before that. It should be illegal worldwide!
I didn't know it was National Roast Leg of Lamb Day, but we had lamb shanks for dinner tonight so we were almost there!
Ruth looks like she is having fun playing with Abigail's tail.

    1. I meant to say It has been illegal in the UK for 15 years, but my fingers weren't keeping up with my thinking.

  11. Happy Dummer (inventor of the integrated circuit) day! Tortitude is so much fun! Especially when there is an older cat! And I LIVE your fill-ins. I have to agree with your #4. I hope you have a marvellously happy day!

  12. I don't agree with de-clawing cats, it's so very cruel and unnecessary.

  13. Kittens can be a bit annoying to other cats! Cheers!
