Doing For Others (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandpa had gone into the kitchen to fix some lunch, and when i passed Grandma's room she was eating Jello and peanut butter crackers.  I told Grandpa not to fix any lunch for Grandma, she'd helped herself to whatever she wanted and he just said, "More for me!"

When Boudreaux an' Clothile jes' got marry, one day she see him cookin' pancakes jes' when dey done had dey supper.

"What fo' you cookin' pancakes, we jes' done had supper," she say, an' Boudreaux say, "I be cookin' dis fo' de dogs."

"Why you be cookin' pancakes fo' de dogs?" Clothile ax.

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, dey cain't cook fo' deyselves, dey don' know how!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.  Please note EC is on a blog break due to her health.  Good thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

Bits and bobs from my substitute phone camera, which is running out of memory.

This week, Lulu wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.

As always, she poses, then wants her treat (and yes, she gets it).

Is it treat time? (Yes, it was.)

  1. That table decoration is lovely. Mrs H always mistakes what I think is a satellite dish for a large bird ;) She really has a vivid imagination.
But that red sky-scape is a delight. Have a fab week!

  15. Beautiful photos. Lulu has that special pleading look that can melt a heart and then she gets her treat.

After I upload my phone camera's photos to my pc, I delete them from my phone so that I don't run low on memory. Maybe you can try this.
