Like Daddy, Like Daughter (Wordless Wednesday) and Words for Wednesday

***********************************

Linking up with Wordless Wednesday, Keith, Catsynth, and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

***********************************

Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and has become a moveable feast of word or picture or music prompts to encourage us to write stories, poems, or whatever strikes our fancy.

The prompts this month will again be posted by Elephant's Child and are provided by Charlotte (MotherOwl)

This week's prompts are:

  • Inquire
  • Constitute
  • Stray
  • Sway
  • Royal
  • Warn

And/or

  • Window
  • Undo
  • Group
  • Cheerful
  • Black
  • Bewildered
  • Spotted

An additional prompt from Charlotte (MotherOwl) is her colour of the month to use (or not) in your take on the prompts. The colour for July is "Writing Pleasure Purple"

Have fun

May i INQUIRE as to what CONSTITUTES a good day for you?

Is it a day where you have a schedule from which you do not STRAY?

Or would you rather SWAY through the hours, flying by the seat of your pants?

Maybe for you it is having a right ROYAL good time at some fun activity, or relaxing on a WARM, sunny beach.

Perhaps you want to sit on a WINDOW seat with a good book, or spend some time working with a volunteer group to UNDO some damage which has been done in this world and make it better.

Does being with a GROUP make you more CHEERFUL, or are you more solitary?

For some, what they wear determines whether the mood of the day, are you in a more dour or BLACK mood wearing your work uniform, as it reminds you of drudgery?  Are you someone who enjoys the work so much you are BEWILDERED by such a question?

For me, if i am SPOTTED wearing a Purple dress as i spend a day Writing and reading, you can be sure it's a good day and i am getting much Pleasure from it.

  18. A very excellent use of the words. A good day for me usually follows a good night's sleep.

  19. Hi Mimi – I'm more of a solitary bod … doing what I'm scheduled to do, or what I feel like as the day passes … a few things will determine the day – being cheerful and happy with life are the main things. I do remember a wonderful purple dress I had with turquoise spots … sadly it got torn in a car crash – fortunately I survived … a shooken brain – but that just needed rest. Fun question you've asked us … cheers Hilary
