Safe (Awww Monday), Inspiring Quote of the Week and Poetry Monday, Salt

 ***********************************

Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

Every rescue and shelter is full right now and we always wish we had room for more.  These precious ones had a rocky start but they are safe now.

Sparks is the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, who wanted us to post something positive and uplifting at the start of the week.  While she no longer blogs, i like to post an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Our dear friend Diane is taking a break

accommodations we must make

we miss her poetry and wit

so carry on as Poetry Monday's a hit!

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border Charlotte/Mother Owl and i are keeping it going while she takes a blog break, we hope temporarily.  Anyone else is welcome to join in the fun, just let us know!

  2. Mimi Dear,
Your shot filled my heart, I love so much to see new rescued fur babies: even if they struggle to socialize, they are still safe, God bless you!
And your first quote about salt made me smile, it's so true :)!

  6. Quina alegria veure als gats en bones condicions!
    M'animo amb la sal:

    Sal del mar brilla,
    festa en cada onada.
    riures s'escolten.

    o aquest:

    Sal de taula,
    un polsim de vida,
    sabors que dansen.

    Aferradetes, Mimi.

  7. The kitties are so cute. The reddish one reminds me of a cat I had as a teenager. DH (then DBF) suggested I name him Fred. I thought that was so weird to give him a human name. I probably would've gone with something like Cinnamon but I asked so Fred it was! lol

Your verses are always so humorous and cleverly written - great job!
