Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.
Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays. Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.
Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you. What better way to start the week than with a smile!
We went out for a "potty break" and Lulu wanted to just get comfy in the sunshine.

Sparks is the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, who wanted us to post something positive and uplifting at the start of the week. While she no longer blogs, i like to post an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Our dear friend Diane is taking a break
accommodations we must make
we miss her poetry and wit
so carry on as Poetry Monday's a hit!
Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border. Charlotte/Mother Owl and i are keeping it going while she takes a blog break, we hope temporarily. Anyone else is welcome to join in the fun, just let us know!

his large order was not rebuffed,
and when asked if he wanted dessert,
he replied with, "No thanks, I'm stuffed!"
*******
While placing an order for cake,
at one point he did balk,
when asked what it should say,
he said, "I don't want it to talk!"
*******
The lady did not place an order
with Amazon one day,
the driver stopped there anyhow
to make sure she was okay!

I would love to take a sunshine break right there with Lulu. Laughed at the Amazon order :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely awww. Love your poems too.
ReplyDeleteLying in the sun by the pool looks like a nice choice. Good sparks! Mom's life is all about being organized, so they work well for her.
ReplyDeleteLulu had a good idea. It's nice to sit outdoors when it's sunny. Your poem about the bear being stuffed made me smile. :D
ReplyDeleteWhat fun quips about order! Lulu looks to have found the sunshine for a bit of a rest by her personal ocean.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Lulu I'm loving the sunshine, though I take my potty breaks inside. :-)
ReplyDeleteCute Teddy bear poem. The poem about the Amazon shopper reminded me of my husband. No kidding, he actually did chat with our postman to let him know that I was okay one day, a day there were no Amazon boxes to leave at the door. They had a good laugh about it. I wasn't laughing. :-)
Awww, Lulu is enjoying the pool all by herself. Adorable shots.
ReplyDeleteLove the Spark and you made me laugh with I'm stuffed.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Hugs, my friend. ♥
Lulu, the grass might be more comfy. :) Nice sparks and poems. There was a breakfast place we used to go to in Vermont that always had giant teddy bears set up at empty tables.
