It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus

There was no light on when i arrived at Carl's yesterday.  Not a good sign.

In fact, he did have the day off, i think he asked for it because of the eclipse.

We got nothing but clouds and rain.  Oh, well.

Meanwhile, i woke Carl and told him to go sleep on the sleep chair.  He wanted to brush his teeth, of course, as i knew he would.

Then he needed pillows.  "Where is the other one?" he said, staring at the four on his bed.

Check the chair, i said dryly, and he responded, "Blanket!" grabbed his blanket and two of the pillows, and headed into the other room.

I had work cut out for me, of course, this was the laundry once i'd gathered it all.

Four loads.

Yes, i did have everything he owned clean last Monday before i left and he still has this much laundry after only one week.  And he did a load himself midweek.  What's your point?

Before i could use the dryer, i had to take stuff off the top, including these.

birthday cake candles, already used at least once

We can't throw them away, it wouldn't be frugal, they can be used again for the next cake.

Just like the note telling Carl to check on work stuff can be pulled out from the spot in the laundry room and used again.

While getting Carl out of his room, he told me he wanted to exercise and i told him to go right ahead.

"Gotta leave...class.  Want to get up at 8."

I told him i would give him a wake up call at 8.

"Shoes."

What about your shoes.

"Don't know...even when I put stuff, it hurts..."

He's been going through the corn cushions again and i suggested new shoes.  He nodded, but i doubt it will happen, he still has 3 usable for work pair.

He kept coming back to his room, at first, to get stuff, just when i thought he had it all, the target moved.  Finally, he settled on his chair and slept until i got him up, then i set about getting him out as soon as possible.

I suggested a shower right off the bat and grabbed spare towels and washcloth from the hall closet because his were all in the laundry.

"Medicine?" he said, uncertainly.

Do you need your meds before shower?

"Yes!" he said, and disappeared.

When he got back, i pushed him into the bathroom, handed him pants, shirt, socks and underwear (the towels and washcloth were already in there) and i told him don't come out until you are dressed!

He didn't, and immediately put on his shoes and headed for the kitchen to eat.  As soon as he was done, he was gone.  He has joined a new exercise place, it seems, and is enjoying it, so i was able to finish his room in peace.

Some funnies for the day.

Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone!
