Of Course We Go to Ladies' Circle for the Bible Study! (Wordless Wednesday) and Words for Wednesday

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and has become a moveable feast of word or picture or music prompts that encourages us to write stories, poems, or whatever strikes our fancy.

This month, the prompts are being provided by lissa at The Memory of Rain

This week, the pompts are photos:

She wasn't sure if it was more like walking into shadows, or seeing a double exposed film, but either way, the second sight was very unnerving sometimes.  Even after years and years, the sudden ability to see what others could not would take her breath away.

And always, after she warned them of what she had seen, whether she was believed or not, whether the warnings were heeded and danger averted or not, the birds would gather, her guardians, to gossip over it.

  2. Mimi,

Mmm, looks nice! Seeing your sandwiches cut so purrty makes me think of when I was a kid. It was popular in the day for moms to make potted meat sandwiches, do you remember that? My mother always used a bit of mayo in her spread, maybe some minced dill pickles. I loved that stuff!

'Dear Abby' debuted on this day. I loved reading her column when I was a young girl. Her words were often funny but sound advice.

    Happy WW!

  3. Good you warned us about stuffed animal laundry day. We will try to hide them so Mom doesn't get any ideas about washing them! Happy Hump Day!

  16. I used to attend Bible Study groups, but never as part of the group. I'd be the babysitter, the mums would bring the kids and I'd keep them occupied in a different part of the house or out in the yard. In those days, I made play-dough by the gallon and carted paper and pencils everywhere.

  18. Love the table. I also love to attend Bible study. We do one for just the women, as I'm sure many congregations do, and it is always a good time as well as informational.
