Let Me Out! (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins, Nature Friday and Flashback Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Tripod SissyCat was begging to go outside, arguing with me because i kept telling her it was cold outside.

I finally let her out at her insistence, and she was back in under 10 minutes, wanting to go back on her heating pad.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. _________ at Christmastime is such a pain to me.

2. I can't wait to see _________ open his/her gift from me.

3. I _________ on Christmas morning.

4. I _________ on Christmas night.

1. Having to get everything done  at Christmastime is such a pain to me.

2. I can't wait to see _________ open his/her gift from me.   No answer here, Grandma and Grandpa get food gifts which they are already expecting and everyone else gets green (money).

3. I   get up very early  on Christmas morning   and hit the ground running.

4. I   collapse into bed  on Christmas night   because I have to go to work early the next day.

Flashback Friday is hosted by FiveSibes Come hop along memory lane with us!

This is one of the many, many kittens we bottle raised over the years.

  1. At least Tripod Sissycat was able to go out and find out for herself that it was cold.

  2. Cats always have to find out for themselves. I suspect she was very glad of her heating pad.
I hope you get a little time to rest over Christmas - though it doesn't sound likely. Take care of yourself please.

  4. Yep, I can imagine Tripod Sissy was ready to come in and get warmed up. It sounds like your Christmas is pretty well planned for now and I hope it all falls into place. Happy Friday.

  5. That kitten is adorable, like a little puff ball! As for the other one, cats always want doors to be open so they can go in and out as they please both in the house and to the outside. They like to keep humans busy being their door people.
