Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays. Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.
Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you. What better way to start the week than with a smile!
Logan and Laura were asked if they wanted to pose, and Laura said yes, but Logan was still too sleepy.

Sparks is the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, who wanted us to post something positive and uplifting at the start of the week. While she no longer blogs, i like to post an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Our dear friend Diane is taking a break
accommodations we must make
we miss her poetry and wit
so carry on as Poetry Monday's a hit!
Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border. Charlotte/Mother Owl and i are keeping it going while she takes a blog break, we hope temporarily. Anyone else is welcome to join in the fun, just let us know!
This week the theme is A Bumpy Ride.
It’s a bumpy ride to Christmas,
it happens every year,
so much to do, so little time,
it wears on the Christmas cheer.
It’s a bumpy ride to Christmas,
my mind is in a whirl,
set the dinner menu,
gets toys for each boy and girl.
It's a bumpy ride to Christmas,
each house must be clean,
so many i can't get to mine,
it's not fit to be seen.
It's a bumpy ride to Christmas,
each and every year
it's happy and sad to remember those lost,
we smile as we shed a tear.
It's a bumpy ride to Christmas,
there's always one more chore,
you're dancing as fast as you can
and you never know the score.
It's a bumpy ride to Christmas,
is this what it's all about?
to run and work and stress
'til it makes you want to shout?
It's a bumpy ride to Christmas,
so i'm going to stop and pray,
read Luke 2 and remember
the reason for the day.
Future themes are:
Dec. 9 A Bumpy Ride (Today!)
Dec. 16 Recipe for Disaster
Dec. 23 Never Say Never and/or Christmas/Hanukkah
Dec. 30 All Done
