Messy Beauties (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins, and Nature Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

These kitties are beautiful, and messy.  You can see the litter they've kicked on the floor, the food was spilled, and they kept trying to knock down the hanger with the litter box scoop on the outside of the cage.  I moved it to where they kept trying to reach it, but couldn't quite get there.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. _________ is my favorite Olympic sport.

2. I won't spend money on _________.

  1. The kittens are total cuties. Like you I don't buy bottled water. Tap water is fine.
    My computer searches are varied.

  2. I love the gymnastics and the ice skating/dancing too. Those kitties look "full of beans" as my mum used to say, meaning energetic and playful.

  3. I recognize that knobby knees sticking up under the cypress tree. And are any of those kittens more cute than the next, I do not think so. I like figure skating when I get a chance to watch it on TV I can't believe how athletic those skaters are.

  4. Those kitties sure are lively even in a relatively small space! Imagine what they will be like when they a furever home. All over the place, I bet. Cuties.

  5. Very cute kittens. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Same here with water, I love our well water. My mom's town's water is awful so I fill gallon jugs for her every week. XO

  9. I don't have a favorite Olympic sport, there are only a few I'm not interested in. I've enjoyed as much of them as I've been able to catch, and I know I'll go through Olympics withdrawal next week.

  11. Those kitties may be messy, but they are so cute. I don't pay attention to the Olympics at all. I don't know why, I just haven't been interested.

  16. You work cleaning up stuff, then you volunteer cleaning stuff... You tickle me! But I guess I see cleaning for kittens, like cleaning for babies. We may not always appreciate it, but they don't realize it's mess, they are just learning, or having fun!!! As far as my searches? Yeep. Yarn, garden info. Yarn. Things I am trying to recall the name of. Yarn. Books. And if I'm bored, Cat videos... And yarn.

  17. Oh the kitties are precious. A gal I know who lives in NYC had a post today with dozens of kittens at a shelter she is involved in. All spayed or neutered, current shots, microchipped, the whole 9 yards! Ready to be adopted. Aw......so many cuties like the ones here. I hope each one finds the purrrrfect home. Always my pleasure to be here. Thank you for hooking me up to Feline Friday last week. It is hard getting back into the groove of daily life since the kids went home. Then we are track and field fiends so we watched all the events on the Olympics. So many good people in the sport. I saw a young swimmer who won gold say He could live without the Olympics, the gold medal but He could not live without Jesus Christ. Made my day. Betty Boop way before my time and Smokey the Bear too. But oh how I love them. Have a great weekend and take care. You always give me a smile or two or ten!

  19. Those kittens are so cute, and they sound like sweet little rascals! We enjoy pretty much all the Olympic sports, but gymnastics, track and field, and swimming are our favorites.

  20. Charlee: "Our Dada says he wants to reach in there and skritch those fluffy white bellies! Sorry, Dada, you will have to content with skritching my fluffy white belly instead ..."

  21. Those two cats reminded me of Si & Am from "The Lady and the Tramp". I like your fill-ins and agre to most, only I do not watch the Olympics.
