Brothers (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins, Nature Friday and Pet Photo Fails

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

These are brothers Ray and Charles.

Yes, Ray is blind, his eyes were so badly infected they were removed.  His brother Charles acts as his guide, even encouraging him to climb up and down after him.  It's precious to see them together.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I like to pretend _________.

2. Why anyone wants to _________ is beyond me.

3. I have a lot in common with _________.

4. I tend to be optimistic about _________ but pessimistic when it comes to _________.

3. I have a lot in common with   other book lovers, as in, loving books and reading.

Nature Friday is hosted by LLB in Our Backyard Simply post a picture of the natural world, and link up!

We still have azaleas, and more.

Pet Photo Fails is hosted by Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries & Meows.

Ray was rather easy to photograph, he simply sat and posed.  Charles, on the other hand, made me work for it.

  1. I sure hope Ray and Charles are adopted together. Their bond appears to be so close, as well as Ray needing Charles as his seeing-eye cat. I wish them both long and happy lives with their forever family.

  2. Ray and Charles are gorgeous. I too hope they can be adopted together.
I hope you do get out of debt this year. So much.

  3. If a black cat crosses your path it is probably going somewhere.

    God bless.

  4. Ray and Charles are adorable, and Charles is such a good brother to him. I hope it is a condition that they are adopted together even if it takes longer. A lot of people don't like mushrooms but I love them fried on toast. A friend used to say it was like eating slugs! As I have never eaten slugs I wouldn't know.

  5. Azaleas, iris, and sweet kittens. I suppose that one little kitten could have died from the infection had it not been saved. I'm a book lover too. Happy Friday

  6. Don't those kittens have very long tails?

  7. The boys are adorable. How sweet that one helps the other. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. You are sane as far as I am concerned. Does your town offer any grants? I know sometimes people can get their roof fixed and stuff like that as long as they don't sell for 15 yrs. I am glad the KIng put an end to eating cats- yikes. XO

  16. Awww, two very special brothers. Ray and Charles are lucky to have each other. Speaking of "lucky", Mom had a black cockapoo name Lucky who also lost both of his eyes due to uncontrollable glaucoma. He managed quite well, along with three other family dogs, until our peeps moved to another house. He had a very hard time adjusting and seemed to go downhill very quickly after that. But he still had many good years despite his blindness.

    Happy weekend.
