Sporadic Immunity (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma's cough was especially bad yesterday.  It's a leftover effect from medication she took years ago, and she can't shake it, but most of the time it's not awful.  Weekends seem worse she tells me.

Boudreaux work hard durin' de week an' he like to spen' hims days off at de Hubba Hubba Lounge or huntin' or fishin' or som'tin' fun (even if on Sunday in de mo'nin' Clothile done make him go to mass mos' weeks).

But he be tellin' hims frien' Thibodeaux dat he not be feelin' so good on hims days off, it seem like ever' time de work week be over, he jes' starts in to feelin' poorly.

Thibodeaux done lissen an' den he say, "Mais, it soun' like you have a week-end immune system!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

I visited a place this week where many residents have door wreaths.  Some of the photos are at an angle because the doors were open and i only wanted to get the wreaths themselves.

This week, Jack wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.   https://thecatonmyhead.com

We hope Grandma's cough is better, but we sure did love Thibodeaux's joke.

Mom is always looking for new ideas for wreaths - she loves making them. Lots of great ideas here.

  14. Hello Jack! Are the wreaths for Easter or do some people have year-round wreaths so they can more easily recognise their own homes/rooms? They are all very pretty.
