Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
My hair is unashamedly salt-and-pepper. Grandma keeps wanting to know when i'm going to color it, and the answer is, when i retire i will color it with a purple rinse for the salt part, and that's it. You can color her unimpressed.
Grand-mère Boudreaux done come in wit' de henna color in her hair, an' Tee see her an' he say, "Grand-mère! You hair, it be green!"
An' Grand-mère say, "Oui, it be like dis when I be colorin' it."
An' Tee say, "But green! Grand-mère, I don' like it."
An' Grand-mère say, "When I's done rinsin' it out it goin' be de red you be's used to, or I kin quit usin' dis an' let de hair be all white."
Tee done t'ink 'bout Grand-mère wit' her hair all white an' he say, "Mais, use de green stuff!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child (who is taking a blog break).
There are azaleas everywhere. The snow must have agreed with them.

This week, Abby and Lulu want to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.
I asked if they wanted an ussie and they did, but first Lulu wanted to stand and Abby wanted to sit, but then they traded.
Either way, they enjoyed posing and each got a peanut butter treat.

It's Cuddly Kitten Day and National Puppy Day! the latter was started to encourage adopting a shelter pup today, the latter because, well, kittens! If you adopt one of each, they grow up together as friends, too.
Thanks to Barb Kowalik and The Cat Blogosphere for the event badge.
