Cool Temps and Other Good Things, a Ten Things of Thankful Post

 ***********************************

Our week has gotten cooler in more ways than one leading up to Thankful Day.

We're thankful the temperatures, while warmer in the day, are still getting down to nice and cool at night.  I'm always thankful for the short time of year in which it happens this way.

Also, #2 Son managed, by the hardest, to get our new room A/C installed in our bedroom.  It took a trip to the hardware store for another piece of wood to prop in the window, but we're very thankful it's ready for when the days really do start to get warm.

Sweetie and I were thankful to get home early last Saturday we both needed the rest.

Driving through Becca's neighborhood Sunday morning, i was thankful i was able to help a turtle finish crossing the street.  They always make me nervous when they do it, so i stop to help.

The RV in our yard is almost move-in ready and we're all very thankful.

I'm thankful for time with this smiling face

even when she's screaming, which does happen.

Tuesday was one of those rare nights when i get little sleep, and i still managed to get through all Ms. G threw at me Wednesday, errands, lots of toting and fetching, and even some cleaning.  I'm thankful it all worked out and thankful while we were at one store i found something i've been needing to pick up and got it.

The plan for Thursday was to do Ms. V's place then Kevin and Lenny's.

Ms. V, Mr. L and Carl actually made it work, each of them leaving the area which needed cleaning just as i needed to get to it, so i had plenty of time to get all the work done, thankfully, and still get to the shop.

I'm thankful Kevin and Lenny are still letting us trade our cleaning work for their work on our cars, as Slow-Moe needed an oil change.

The shelter population is on the way up again as the spring kittens come in from foster care to be put up for adoption.  We're thankful for plenty of extra hands to make light work, we got done early on Friday and had time to just visit each other and the cats.

We're also thankful for adoptions and lots of people visiting and looking.

I'm thankful Poppy didn't bite me when i caught her after she escaped her room (she tried).

Please write up your own list and link up to Ten Things of Thankful, where Clark and his co-hosts always have a warm welcome waiting.

  6. Who could resist that sweet Poppy smile!!!

Glad the week worked out well despite some challenges. And you will be very grateful for that a/c before long. We almost turned ours on this week as it was so warm in the house at night. But a few open windows and a ceiling fan worked for the Mom and Dad.

I am however not thankful towards whatever fluke, cyberworm or whatever eating my comments on your blog. It seems only one out of three ever gets there.
