Heading Up (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma was telling me a good friend of hers has declined very badly mentally and might not be with us much longer.  After this past week's tragic news, i needed to hear something light and funny and Boudreaux came through.

Boudreaux was telling Thibodeaux 'bout hims Tonton (uncle).  "He done died las' week.  Had him a heart attack an' died at de shoppin' mall, on de up escalator."

An' Thibodeaux done say, "I be so sorry 'bout dat."

An' Boudreaux say, "Merci, we be sad, but mais! at least him was already goin' in de right direction!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

To badly mangle a phrase from King Solomon, whatsoever thy camera findeth to take, do thy best.

No, i do not know how the homeowner makes these flowers from plastic parts of some kind.

This week, E-Z's daughter wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.  The problem is she would barely hold still for her photo, so this is the best we could do with Reba Rambunctious.
