The Good Times Never Stop, a Ten Things of Thankful Post

 ***********************************

The good times never stop, not long enough to catch up, at least.

It's okay, there's plenty for the thankful list in having such a schedule, including some extra pay on a couple of jobs.

Grandma is always trying new gadgets and gizmos and she'd bought a foot massager which was too rough on her feet as it really does a deep tissue massage.  She gave it to me and i was thankful to be able to pass it on to Brother-in-Law, as he has foot trouble and we're hoping it helps him greatly.

Sweetie and i also got done with the work early last Saturday and she wanted to take a nap, so we left and got home early, and we're always thankful to not be too late getting back to town.

This Sunday, i'm thankful to say, i did better about remembering to bring everything i needed with me.  Even skipping one Sunday (when little Annie came) threw me off and i forgot to bring things.  I'm thankful this past week i remembered.

Sunday evening i was thankful for a rather funny event.  I heard a yelp, and then Brother-in-Law calling, "Help, I can't get the cat out of the bathroom!"  Tripod SissyCat had followed him in, and he has a bad back and will not bend over for any reason, nor will he pick things up off the floor if he can help it, and the cat had decided to keep him company in the restroom, as so many pets do.  I laughed and got the cat out, as he really is fussy and wouldn't use the facilities with an audience (and thus we are thankful he never married, had pets, or had kids, his fussiness wouldn't have made anyone's life easier).

Each workday this week has been a long one, but I'm thankful for the work.

Monday was Carl and Ms. S, with Carl keeping me hopping and Ms. S and i were thankful to have a good talk as well as work time.

Tuesday we went to Kevin and Lenny's to clean, and it was Mr. M's birthday.  Cleaning was done and a good time was had by all.

Wednesday, the shelter was not too hard for which i was very thankful, as Ms. G put me and Sweetie to it at a house being cleaned.  It had to be move-in-ready when we were done, and it about whipped us.  I'm thankful i don't have to clean paint drips off floors by hand very often.

I'm thankful i got to Bible study that night without getting wet in the sudden downpour, and thankful a friend there saw me struggling to read with the flashlight on my phone and handed me a light up magnifier.

Ms. V's place on Thursday was the usual muddle.  Mr. L has insomnia and lots of really bad neck pain and sometimes he doesn't get out of bed until very late which puts me cleaning until even later.  I'm thankful he got up early (for him) for an appointment.

Ms. G went out of town so i was glad to take care of her cats on Friday, and thankful i know a quicker way to her house when the highway was shut down due to an accident.

Ms. GA was also out of town (they don't know each other, different reasons and different places) so i was thankful to get the place done and the boxes freshened up so all Mr. BA has to do is scoop once a day and feed everyone.  He's thankful, too.

I'm thankful we had just enough help at the shelter for last night's shift and that all escapee cats were caught and put back in their proper rooms.

Please write up your own list and link up to Ten Things of Thankful, where Clark and his co-hosts always have a warm welcome waiting.
